Metroid Dread took an unexpected turn last time where the X Parasite was accidentally (?) released setting the next phase of Raven Beak's plan in motion. Now Samus is left to pick up the pieces - facing a Ghavoran that she's not familar with - creatures once docile and defensive have turned monstrous and aggressive. Also the EMMI's got turned back on because OF COURSE THEY DID.
