These Forgotten Independence Day Video Games Came With The Toys 💾
365The Independence Day toys and action figures from 1996 came packaged with secret video games on 3.5” floppy disks. Each floppy "Mission Disk" has a little minigame on it, sort of related to the toy and depicting a different bit of the film’s story. I have spent four years tracking down mint and complete ID4 toys, ships and action figures so that I could assemble and play all 11 ID4 Mission Disks. There was not a complete log of these forgotten PC games, until now! Join me as I unbox the Independence Day toys, wax rhetorical about 90s nonsense and play some 30-year old floppy disks!
