Ape Squad blatantly stole not just another game’s assets, but their entire game. But the crazy part is… That’s just the tip of the iceberg.

At first glance Ape Squad is actually a very well developed shooter- for an NFT game. It has solid gameplay, solid controls, and if it didn’t suffer from the problems every single crypto game out there suffers from (a complete and total lack of players) it would actually be an OK game!

But it’s obvious this is NOT a game aimed at the English-speaking population. In fact most of their marketing looks like an IQ test. One that I failed because I ended up downloading this game just to see how horrible it would actually be.

But after a deep dive into it I realized this game was a complete copy of Black Squad AND there were more games this game’s studio released following the exact same pattern.

Honestly I’m just hoping I didn’t get a virus or something from this. Next time I might run it on a virtual machine… Or just rawdog the crypto crap. We’ll see.
