Comparison of game's performance at both APIs: DX11 and Mantle. As you can see mantle improves performance a lot, without doubt.
For OSD i'm using MSI Afterburner which unfortunately doesn't support Mantle API and this is a reason why OSD is not rendered during Mantle run.
