Time for another playthrough. This time, Thief Gold or pretty much Thief: The Dark Project Director's cut. We find ourselves in the boots of the thief, Garrett. As a kid he found himself alone, no home and no parents, so he made his life pick pocketing purses for money to keep himself from starving. However he makes a grab from a man whom, in Garrett's eyes, to be ignored by everyone else and probably was someone with a good amount of gold. However during the grab the elusive man caught Garrett, rather impressed with his skills, identifying himself as a keeper and as one who wished not to be seen.
Though Garrett just wanted to get away from the keeper, the man offered something more for the young boy, if he wished to follow. Thus begins Garrett's training as a keeper.
Throughout this playthrough I will try to stay undetected through as much as I can, rarely using the blackjack unless completely necessary and this rule applies only for guards and peasants, while later missions may force some sneaky backstabs. And all on Expert difficulty.
