4In this video, I'm checking out The Salt Order demo — and trust me, this game needs WAY more attention!
The concept is simple: you have a limited amount of salt you can draw with to trap demons that only move when you're not looking at them. It’s an intense, creative mechanic that creates real tension and strategy.
However, there’s a catch — this demo is 3 years old, and sadly, a full release still hasn’t happened. After years of silence, there was a small update last Halloween, giving a tiny bit of hope that the developers might finish it someday.
I really hope they do, because The Salt Order has serious potential and deserves to be completed!
If you love horror games with clever mechanics, this is one you definitely need to see.
