This is a remake of original X-COM, where Enemy Unknown is a reboot. If you play this an never play original X-COM, I don't think you'll miss anything.
The graphics are built on a budget, but they do the job they need to do. They don't make my GPU fan spin.
Like Phoenix Point and most Civilization games, the campaign in slooooooow. Don't expect to get through an entire game in one weekend.
It's easy to miss the "build second base" button; it's on the overmap in the middle-top of the screen, and there's no tutorial mission to remind you to do it. Apart from that and occasionally the soldier's pathing, this is pretty solid all-around.
Better than UFO: AfterXXX series, which spent too much of its budget on 3D graphics.
