But what the Honda Element was - now celebrating its 20th anniversary - is a car that can do a lot of everything. Jonny Smith loved their simple design and robustness enough to buy one (for £5000). But in the UK there are thought to be less than a dozen, making it a rare JDM/American market choice as his family car.
