This time, I'm replaying a mode that should've been brought back in the Nintendo Switch era of Mario Party. 2v2 Mario Party (Tag Battle). In this mode, you team up with 1 other person, and you face against another team of 2 players to become the Superstars. You share stars, coins, and items with your teammate. Each team also has a unique name depending on which character you pick! The last 2 games, Jamboree and Superstars, were missing a team mode entirely. While Super Mario Party did have a team mode, it functions differently than in regular Mario Party. Its gameplay was similar to that of Mario Party Star Rush from the 3DS. I hope this particular mode returns in an update to Jamboree on Nintendo Switch or in the next future entry on the Nintendo Switch 2 era for the Mario Party series.
