Ever since the beginning of My Hero Academia i’ve been here providing theories for the fandom and trying to figure out just how exactly Horikoshi’s brain ticks, however despite the fact that I actually did manage to get a lot of theories correct, there’s also a ton that I got wrong and probably the BIGGEST theory that the entire fandom was aware of that I was entirely wrong on, is the Dad for One theory. The dad for One theory suggested that All for One was actually Deku’s Dad, Hisashi, and that he actually abandoned Deku because he was quirkless to go and raise Shigaraki instead to be the next him. This theory got REALLY popular in the fandom and I definitely was expecting to see it confirmed somehow, however now with All for One dead as can be and the series finally wrapping up as we finish this final battle, it’s unlikely that Hisashi Midoriya will ever appear at all, and as fun as it was piecing this theory together, it’s JUST as hard to say goodbye, but it’s time we lay it to rest.
