Today, Rachel and Mikayla Today, Rachel and Mikayla start off again as a young Aerith, still looking for help from any one. When finally we run into Elmyra, and she finally helps us. Just as Aerith’s mom dies. Promising Iflana that she will take care of Aerith. Ilfana gives Aeirth a beautiful white materia telling her to keep and she will be with her forever. We see Shinra lab employees come and take her dead body. Where Aerith gives a wonderful speech about living on in spirits and becoming one with the earth. Cloud, cold to it makes the party move on. Where Sephiroth continues to infiltrate his mind and take over, ensuring his plan comes to life at the expense of Clouds sanity. Cloud then sees his own trial, and watches as Biggs dies again Jessie as well. With the memory telling him lies and like it was all his fault. Sephiroth using his dispair uses it to fuel his plans and to continue to use him as a puppet. Bringing him back to reality and leaving the crew behind him a gasp, as they see he killed a robed man. We reach an area where the Cetra spirits tell us their history and what happened to this place, leading to their downfall. They talk about the black materia and how they have hid it from those who would use it to harm. They also discuss the Homecoming, referencing Sephiroth as a major threat and how he cannot and should not be trusted. He will cause a Meteor with the black materia completely shattering the earth and killing everyone. Aeirth as the last Cetra steps forward, saying she will make sure he takes him down. Leading to the boss battle against him. Well, at least one version. Once they are defeated, Cloud knocks down a door with brute force and heads the crew forward to a final platform. Where the black materia waits, and Cloud sets off a set of events to bring the whole temple down. We see Cait Sith running back in and everyone else leaving as quickly as they can. So they don’t die in the rubble of this explosion Cloud set in motion. The rest of the group tries to return the materia, with minimal success. Cait Sith shows up to help and to give them time to escape. Him and his moogle sacrifice themselves to save us. Vincent leads us quickly out of there and to safety. As we celebrate, Barrett sees Cloud, with well.. the black materia. He takes it from him, however, causing Cloud to try and get it back. It rolls directly into the hands of Sephiroth. He then continues his mind control, having Cloud come to him.. to continue his HomeComing. Aeirth and Tifa, runs after him. Trying to save him. Causing him to chase her to get the materia back. She gives it back, and he returns it to Sephiroth. She gets attacked by his whispers, making Cloud come back to reality, and try to help her and save her. But Sephiroth sends them plummeting to the ground. Causing them to wake up in Zacks reality, where he lived.
