Three Times the Charm | Event Mode Test Run | Eternal Card Game
6The show must go on! I still wanted to upload my best run from testing the new Event Mode in Eternal that was revealed last weekend. The first Event was a gauntlet where you are pitted against other players and your run ends when you have either 7 wins or 2 losses. It was very similar to Heroic Tavern Brawl in Hearthstone but with much better rewards ;). I decided to try and different take on Elysian Midrange that I've been brewing in my head for the past few weeks given the new tools Rakano decks have been using, the archnemesis of traditional Elysian Midrange. The result is a slower build, but it doesn't run out of gas so quickly and has better early game interaction than traditional lists in my opinion. I was pleased with the result and I'm looking forward to testing it further until Omens of the Past releases.
It looks like there's going to be a new event every weekend from here on out too. Between this, the new set coming out and, likely, the release of the game, I'm VERY excited. I'm still trying to juggle this channel and stuff in real life, though, at least for the next two weeks (hopefully). I still want to give my thoughts on the cards revealed so far and try to get another Eternal Errors episode in before the month is out. I doubt that will be this Friday (tomorrow), so I'm shooting for next week starting Monday along with maybe some gameplay from the Event coming up this weekend. I will have SOMETHING that's Eternal up tomorrow, though.
