What is the LevelUp 737?
It is the successor to the Ultimate 737 project. The team (which consists of two developers) left and handed the project to us (Threshold). From then, a new team was assembled to work behind doors in secret up until August 13, where we’ve revealed the project.
When will this be released?
Our last slated prediction was October 2020, we all knew how that went. So there are no new dates, don't get your hopes up.
Will the LevelUp 737NG have new FMOD sounds?
Yes, we have extended our partnership with Laminar Research by having Daniela (the creator of the Default FMOD sounds) on board to adapt her incredible soundpack onto the LevelUp 737NG series.
What about the Honeywell MCP? Will that be done?
Yes, it will be introduced as a toggleable panel.
Will this be freeware?
It will be, it has to be, and it will forever be freeware.
The new cabin looks like it’ll tank my FPS!
If you can run the default 737 cabin fine, then you’ll have no problem with this, it is based on the default. In fact we’ve done minor mesh optimisations across the cabin so in the end the poly count is slightly less than the default. Though all cabin textures has been remastered in 4k.
Will Zibo -800X liveries work on the LevelUp -800?
For the most part, yes, though there are substantial mapping differences to the winglets and the gear doors. If you're a livery creator, we recommend using our paintkit (to be released) to readapt your work to be useable on the LevelUp plane.
Will the Ultimate 737-700 and -900ER liveries work on the equivalent LevelUp planes?
No, the new LevelUp planes is visually redeveloped from the ground up. However we've worked with incredible repainters in the community to give you a list of quality liveries available to download upon release. (edited)
