Fun fact: you can actually do this in the original by using a glitch by pausing the game as you attempt a throw. Ofc now this patch bypasses that completely, but it’s interesting to see that they did intend for this to be a thing for player silver. Makes me wonder if review versions of the game had it working 🤔
It seems they got the codes mixed around so the multiplayer Invulnerability to silver’s throw got applied to player silver single player.

At least now silver can pay shadow back in spades for his badass roundhouse kick 😂
