This video shows how to calculate how much damage will be done when you throw an enemy. Without spending some time looking at what's going on, it's not immediately obvious how damage is calculated when throwing enemies.

In Baldur's Gate 3 throwing enemies is a contentious topic as it is not something that has been imported from the tabletop edition of D&D 5e.

I discuss how I collected the data and how viable a throwing build is for a character, without taking into consideration the class apart from a moon druid.

Do keep in mind that Baldur's Gate 3 is still in early access and so the features shown in the video are subject to change and the game is incomplete, so expect more to be added to the game in the future. At time of recording the game was still in Early Access Patch 4, and by the time of the full release of Baldur's Gate 3 this method may have changed.
