New website URL! https://djomnimaga.music-2000.com Memories of Texas Instruments graphing calculator RPG gaming in the Omnicalc years, brought to you by Omnimaga: The Coders Of Tomorrow. Despite the extreme limitations of the programming language even with the help of ASM libraries, TI-BASIC programming has come a long way since xLIB APP replaced all older libraries like Omnicalc.
Game: Illusiat 12
Original Release Date: December 27th 2002
Illusiat 12 is by far the longest RPG in term of lenght on z80 calculators and the second longest calculator RPG ever made, behind Ultima V: Warriors Of Destiny for the TI-89. This is also the last Illusiat game ever made, excluding the first four games remakes in the Illusiat 2004 package and the TI-81 version of the first Illusiat in the series. In this video, the hero mage, after preparing himself (sequence that had to be removed from video due to Youtube lenght limit), goes to fight the final boss, Astar, who controls a comet (on which the hero and Astar are) heading straight into the planet Illusiat. However, after beating him, the hero gets a surprise...
Music is from Ys IV: The Dawn Of Ys for the Turbografx-16 with CD add-on.
