This is a puzzle you might see in many different video games. In my previous video I covered the 5x5 grid version. This video is about two other versions – one where all the tiles are in a circle and the other where they are all in a line. I don’t cover every version of the puzzle, but these are good examples and by watching all 4 of them you will probably pick up on the pattern and be able to solve other variations without too much hassle.
There are two common presentations of these puzzles you find in video games, one of which involves flipping the tiles over and the other of which involves pressing a light switch that changes colour or changes state between on and off. I did the tile flip version in the previous video, so in this one I’m doing the light switch version. There was also a practical reason for that – I had a nightmare of a time trying to get the curved tiles in the circle to flip over properly in PowerPoint! Still, it meant that I could try my hand at making this other version, so it all ended well.
