There were quite a lot of games like this back in the day on the Sega CD, the 3DO, and even the PS1 where you had to time your direction as well as action button just right to get to the next sequence in the game. Dragon's Lair was the first big popular game of this type with amazing animation and fun characters. Since this is the Sega CD version of Time Gal, it's not as great in the animation but it still does a pretty good job. In this game you visit various time periods and immediately have to get out of do or die situations until you beat the period get to move on. I used to be terrible at these games but thankfully this time around I was able to beat Time Gal, so let's get to time hopping and save the Time Gal from all the danger.
