Welcome to our playthrough of Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors, otherwise known as 999. This game was developed by Chunsoft and published by Aksys games. It is the first game in the "Nonary Games" series, consisting also of Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward and Zero time Dilemma. While it was originally released on the DS, it was released later with more features (including voice acting) on the Playstation Vita, PS4, and PC.

999 is a visual novel with puzzles known as "Escape Rooms." You play as Junpei, who wakes up trapped on a ship resembling the Titanic. He, along with 8 other people, were kidnapped and trapped on this ship by a mysterious person named Zero. Zero wants them to solve puzzles to escape the ship, similar to the "Saw" movies.
