Exactly a year ago, Mark, Ethan, and Amy deleted Unus Annus. This is a project I have been drafting since last year, and finally started to make this week. It has been a labor of love, and I am proud of the final product, very flawed though it is. I hope you can enjoy this version of Kevin Sherwood and Elena Siegman's Dead Again. Here is the link to the original song:

Thank you for watching, and I'll see you again in my future Unus Annus postmortem videos.

My lyrics:

The end is ever near, I’ve known it;
Yet still I listened to the fear and looked away.
We only want to live forever,
Where tomorrow always comes to save the day.

We ignore the pain,
That every story has to turn its last page.

Our ignorance leads us astray.
Procrastinating on and on throwing the days away.

Am I dead? Is it too late now?
Where is the pain?
I let the moments pass me,
Ignoring what I could be.
The time has turned into rain.

Beneath the waning light I see it.
Two friends who came to say that everybody dies.
A forced enlightening reveals this mortality.
They told us not to shy away from reality.

They gave us a year.
They helped us care and push past the fear.

Their time had come to leave forever,
But their adventure showed us how to “rage, rage against the dying of the light.”

Are they dead? Is it all over?
What is their name now?
The end of time is coming closer.
The time will turn into rain.
I fail it again and again. I fail it.
I fail to use each moment the way I mean to.
But I’ll try it again and again through my life.
I’ll try it for as long as I can.
Right now I am alive.

I’m alive I feel the pain now.
I’m really here.
I’m alive now. I’m alive now.
I’m alive. I’m alive. Now I try again.

Are they dead? Is it all over?
There is the pain.
I know the end is coming closer.
I am not afraid.

When I’m dead It’ll be all over.
But it’s not too late now.
I won’t let the moments pass me.
I’ve realized what I can be.
The time still turns into rain.
