I'm not a Bandit. My name is not Kruglov. My job is to infiltrate whichever Factions that I choose, in order to investigate and track down the new prototype weapons and ammunition, that has entered the Zone. My first success with this has been when I joined the Bandit Faction. I am the Tailor.

Encrypted Diary: I let my Companions keep most all their weapons, food, medical supplies and other items. I just unloaded from them all the various ammo they were carrying for me, a few artifacts and all the armor and weapon repair kits. I will need all these things since I am releasing all of them and I am joining the Mercenary Faction.

This is only considered a lateral move, since the Bandits and Mercenary Factions are very similar. I needed to get out of the Bandit Faction, since it appeared the Ecologists were after me, having chased me all the way to the Skadovsk in Jupiter. I needed to try to hide and blend in as before, being the third Faction I had infiltrated in the past two months.

* Game Note: The Mercenaries had originally given me the task of the X-16 Lab, and switching Factions to them, meant all those Merc jobs remain, in addition to the Freedom one since they are still an ally. Now I have the Loners as an ally again, which is what I prefer. The Bandits and Mercenaries are both classified as "Tailor".
