Today we are talking about something that many game masters and players alike feel is a big no no. We explore the those times when it is necessary to split the adventuring party in a tabletop role-playing game. It's a common trope in other media so it only makes sense we would do it in our games as well. Sometimes it just makes sense to the story eve3n if it doesn't make gaming sense. Splitting the party creates problems for the players and the dungeon master at the gaming table more so than the characters in the game.
