128Titanfall 792p Pathetic Resolution and so it came to pass that Titanfall was launched on the world at barely above 720p, but don't worry, Titanfall devs say they are looking at patching for at least 900p in the future! This all comes down to the ESRAM and the ability to provide anti-aliasing at a high resolution. Essentially you can't have both a high resolution and top quality AA at the same time or at least not without impacting the framerate to below 60fps.
It's disappointing to find a flagship game suffering when it should have been given either more time to up that resolution to 900p the baseline I feel is acceptable for next gen games to provide the right balance between clarity and frame-rate if you're finding the hardware resource constrained. ****
