TMNT Season 1 Episode Review - The Pulverizer Returns

Remember the Pulverizer? He’s back and now working for the Foot. What starts off well goes real bad when the Pulverizer gets exposed to mutagen turning into a monster! Really scary and the Turtles really have their work cut out for them, albeit in a really bad way.
The episode was real good, despite one big issue. Action was good and humor was solid. My favorite moments were Splinter’s lesson on adaptability along with the battle in the warehouse. The lesson turned out to be my favorite for a variety of reasons. Don wielding sais are a nod to Rob Paulsen who voiced ’87 Raph. Of course the Turtles learn a valuable lesson from it. The big battle was great at the end but I felt bad for the Pulverizer.
Speaking of the Pulverizer, he was the one thing that kind of bogged it down. He went full on fan boy and it’s no better by the fact he suffers a fate that’s a lot worse. Depressing yeah but it’s not the last we see of the Pulverizer. This also becomes a burden for Donatello since it was his responsibility. That was really sad.
