1,734Just want to clear a few things up:
For a long time I considered myself a Libertarian. I was a fan of Ron Paul. I read and or listened to Thomas Stowell, Matt Welsh, Penn Jillette, and many others. I stopped calling myself a Libertarian because I found the direction that Libertarian thought leaders were heading was dangerous and opposed to what I believed in.
I now consider myself an Eisenhower Republican and I feel like none of the party leaders share my values. None.
I also chose my words very carefully. I didn't say Libertarians are fascists. I didn't say that Libertarians BECOME fascists. I said that Libertarian*ISM* is an *invitation* to fascism. What does that mean? By de-regulating everything, dismantling the structures of government and public institutions that many rely on, you leave the MAJROITY of important social decision making to the private sector. Private interest decision makers are mini dictators. They answer to NOBODY except other powerful protodespots. Furthermore, you disenfranchise the common man, leaving them poorer and in ever-more-dire circumstances. Willing to accept any narrative and follow any soothsaying "strongman" that promises change. And Donald is one of the worst among them. He's used to getting exactly what he wants when he wants it, and he's a sore winner about it, too.
Finally, I am not asking people who disagree with my to unsubscribe. Only those people who don't believe in equality or justice.
