The first 25 or so minutes of indie adventure game To the Moon. It actually plays more like a piece of interactive fiction than a traditional adventure game. Using the RPG Maker engine it has a visual style akin to that of a Final Fantasy III/VI and has a wonderful musical score to it.

The game is short (3-5 hours depending on how you play) so the current $9.99 price tag may seem steep to some. But it's a wonderful story with a vintage graphical style and excellent music that is well worth the price.
