Tokyo Xanadu Ex+: Twilight Apostle Conquer Run is In My Opinion, Impossible.
0I did mention that my last video is sort of more like "I dare / challenge you to this run" and I wasn't really joking. I tried around 30 times or so by now and all, I mean actually ALL OF MY ATTEMPTS of doing this ended up me dead always dead in fact, at 3 or 4 mins into the fight. That also means I usually end up dead in Phase 2. Note that I said "Usually".
The problems are many and this is just me talking about Phase 1 and 2. I have never. NEVER reached Phase 3 with either "Perfect" or "No Special Skills" or "No Damage" before so I have nothing to say regarding everything past Phase 2. What can I tell you is that both Phase 1 and 2 have pretty much the same exact problems.
That is 1. The Orb Attacks that have pretty much the highest homing capablities in the entire fuckng game I swear to fucking word and are also capable of stunlocking you to either proc Brave Soul or death. It is also capable of making situations that whatever you do, you will get hit by either the Orbs itself or another attack the Twilight does. In a sense, Unavoidable. The 2nd problem and of course I mentioned this before and it only got worse as being a problem, Minions. You can specifically see the timing where my attempt is a dead attempt the moment you see either the Orbs or the Minions. I dodged everything nearly perfectly aside from the mentioned and I'm sure I did not really pull moves that are considered as "Retarded".
So what's the countermeasure for each of these problems? I would say that I sort of found a few methods to counter the Orbs without using EX Skills but well, I honestly wouldn't really call them solutions. The first method is running away from them and quickly deal with the last few orbs and rush towards the Twilight to prevent him from using another Orb barrage. The Second method is to somehow deal with all the orbs before they are all launched. At one point of this video, I did just that by constantly attacking the Twilight while the orbs are preparing to launch. I did it a few times before too but to do that consistently well, Yeah. Good luck with that especially if there's a minion on the field. The third method would be simply running in circles until the orbs are all disappeared but you stay close enough to the Twilight that he uses his usual melee attacks. You can see me do just that when there's a minion on the field. As for the minion, I have nothing. Elusive motherfucker who have 3 types of attacks and one of them charges a large orb of sorts that homes. It does not have the homing level of the Twilight's Orbs but it's there and boy do I hate that attack. Timing is fucking weird and all. That aside, I'm being serious. I have no counters against that. Just like how Twilight's Orbs can make some situations being completely unavoidable. The minion can also do just that except more often than the orbs. Best part is that the minion problem will not go away at all. It will last throughout all 4 phases of the boss. And this is just me talking about Phase 1 and 2 too.
About Phase 2 by the way, If there's a minion and the Twilight decided to use "Negative Sphere" on you, Better fucking pray that you can dodge both of the attacks or that the minion does fucking nothing while the "Negative Sphere" is ongoing. Yes. That can fucking happen.
So yeah, I do not 100% think that it's impossible to conquer the Twilight Apostle but to me, It is. Logically speaking, if someone is capable of consistently countering the Orbs using the second method, that's one problem gone. In which case, that someone will pretty much only have one major problem. The minion. Believe it or not that's actually going to help a lot. That said though, Let me also just say that this run if you were to do either "Perfect" or "No Special Skills" or "No Damage", It can easily go between 15 or even 30 mins so take extra note of that.
But yeah, Hopefully this is my last video of this game other than OST. Because I well, I don't mind recording more but eh. I feel like other than conquering the other bosses which I don't want to because either annoying attacks or CUNTS THAT GANKS aka Summon Minions (I'm biased so I don't mind the Twilight doing that. Doesn't change the fact that he's still a cunt for doing that), there's just not much else to do. So yeah. I''ll leave it as that.
