Tom returned his three globes to the Hollywood Foreign Press Association in protest over the lack of diversity among its members.
Yesterday, the Globes announced a bunch of proposed reforms such as recruiting black members and hiring diversity advisers but said it would take 18 months to do all of that.
So NBC will not air the Golden Globes next year or in 2023 until the changes are in place.
