Tomb Raider (1996) on Socket 3? (Part 1)
887This is the first video of many, exploring the capabilities of the socket 3 platform. Cyrix, IBM, AMD, Texas Instruments, and Intel were some of the companies offering CPUs compatible with this platform. The goal is to find the system that is capable to run Tomb Raider (1996) at an acceptable frame rate. Anything is allows, Cyrix 5x86, Pentium OverDrive, memory and cache tuning, mods, and Voodoo 3D accelerators. We will explore all options! Most of the hardware I will be using on this series requires some love and repair, but I hope that it will be satisfying and entertaining! Let's not waste more time and let the the socket 3 platform show us what it is capable of doing!
