Inanimate object Pokemon. Just uttering that phrase is sure to make many Pokemon fans (particularly many "genwunners") roll their eyes, as a great number of players can't stand Pokemon that are based on objects rather than things. They write off the likes of Vanilluxe, Garbodor, and Honedge as just, "oh, that's just [insert object of design] with eyes, THAT'S not creative!!11!1". Although I think the hate for inanimate object 'Mons is a bit much, I can see where people are coming from, to a certain extent. However, I feel like object Pokemon can be pretty awesome, and I've had a few ideas for inanimate object Pokemon rolling around in my head for quite some time now.

And thus, today, I present my picks for the top 5 inanimate objects that I think could make the basis for a great Pokemon! Who knows? Maybe some of these concepts will be used for Pokemon designs in the upcoming Pokemon Sun and Moon games?
