Torchlight II is as close to Diablo as one can get without playing Diablo. It takes place in the town of Torchlight. The players descend through over 100 floors of randomized dungeons and monsters. Monsters also drop randomized loots, that can contain a variety of stats. there are also champion monsters, that have more than standard abilities but drop better than average loot.
