The Forgotten Snowy Former Capital
~The Streets of a Former Hell~

Most Touhou games wait until stage 4 before the difficulty spike kicks in. Not Subterranean Animism that's for damn sure. The stage may be short and that's your only saving grace. Throughout the stage the main theme is both dealing with enemies firing shots directly at you but also contending with enemies shooting long lasers to pin you down. Yuugi joining in on the fun for the second half of the stage doesn't help matters either.

Yuugi loves spamming lasers or blasting you with refracting bullets for her cool down phases. So this is a good time to get used to them before she gets too cruel with them.

As a boss Yuugi attacks with otherwise overbearing spell cards. Contrary to how they may look they aren't too bad but can definitely catch you off guard if they take you by surprise.
