this game takes place before touhou 9. very early in the time frame but it does involve some early incarnation's of some of the people in modern Genso

Hard mode is the true difficulty in this game
and Lunatic is just Hard mode but more fuck you ya know
stage 5 bosses abilities are: Black Midi : ability to deform theirself into something else
white Midi : ability to deform sound
Stage 6 boss abilty is UmiKuzu or referred as "Umi Neko": something like Absorbing souls and understanding their entire life until their death a demands people they bring back todo tasks for them, like give them food or other needs. where the now servants cannot refuse UmiKuzu's demand because they are willing todo it all.

Aka the abilty of a cat (hense the Nik-name "Umi Neko")
