Rage inducing stage. I have yet to beat it. I guess it's a good thing I didn't, because it would go over 11 minutes. You unlock Extra Stage after beating the game on Normal or higher without a continue. They're generally very difficult. I find this one pretty hard due to how clunky the movements of the char feel compared to Touhou 7 and so on. Boss fight starts at 3:30. Her spell cards are mostly very tough, but her in between attacks are simplistic for some reason (thank god?).

Anyway, I think using Remiu is kinda adding unnecessary difficulty to this. One of the biggest problems I have is her Cranberry Trap spellcard because I have to survive it twice as long as if you would with Marisa, due to her homing attack going downward for some reason. If you're unaware, Marisa is the other playable character in Touhou 6. But I only beat the game with Remiu so I'm stuck with her. Marisa is generally stronger, though her attack doesn't home, it still helps more and can end spell cards faster.

Anyway, since this is a special stage, I'll list the spell cards for you:

Cranberry Trap - Her first spell card is actually really difficult IMO. I haven't really found out a decent way of dodging it, so I usually lose lives or waste bombs on it, which makes me start out really bad, and is probably the biggest reason I haven't beaten this stage yet.

Lavatein - By far the easiest spell card. I can dodge this one 100% no problem as it does the same thing every time.

Four of a Kind - This ones so-so. It can be tricky when all types of projectiles are coming at you at once, but other than that it's not too bad.

Kagome, Kagome - Another easy one, but it's also easy to get trapped. Try not to stay in spots where the bullets spawn.

Maze of Love - This one is really stupid and hard. I can kinda almost always do it when it's moving counter clockwise, but not the other way around. An alternative to this is to I guess stay on the edge and attempt to dodge the very narrow paths of bullets, or bomb through it if you're worried you'll waste a life full of bombs on this like I did.

Starbow Break - Fairly tough one. The bullets fall fast after gaining momentum. It's easy to get trapped, I had to bomb a few times here to survive it.

Catadloptric - This one seems not too bad if you know the semi-safe spots, I got kinda lucky though, as I only got this far like once before.

Counter Clock - No idea what to do on this one, first time getting to it in the video.

And Then Will There Be None? - This one is in two parts, the first is when you are followed by the bullets, you're supposed to move slowly in a certain way I believe, I did it pretty wrong but survived with a bomb. Then died immediately in the second part.

Overall, ridiculous stage lmao. But it's supposed to be really hard. I hated that the only way to practice the later spell cards were to get that far in the stage, it was too time consuming for me really. So I'm sticking with a failed attempt unless I decided to play the game again. This is the last Touhou 6 video.
