First of all, does anyone know why the font is displayed incorrectly? (I've recently been playing Touhou on a different computer. This font glitch previously occurred with Touhou 10-12; those three now work fine, but now 8 has the glitch.)
(Edit: It fixed itself the next time I opened Touhou 8 after recording this.)

Now, since this is my first Extra clear, I say this deserves a more detailed description. (Edit: Wow, it sure is long.)

Start: 263 point items. I believe that's the maximum possible before Keine.

Past "Ancient History": The small light-blue bullets are fixed; Spell Practice is useful for finding safe locations for each phase.

Reincarnation: "Returning Bridge Ichijo": The lines of small bullets seem to be fixed, though they may start at a different point in the pattern sometimes. This card is her easiest in my opinion.

Future "The Next History of Phantasm": Well, what do you expect? The small bullets are still fixed. However, I'm not anywhere near reliable at this. 1 bomb is better than 2.

2nd half: I can normally reach Mokou without dying, but I made a few mistakes this time.

Death fairy: The safespot in the far bottom-left only works with Reimu/Yukari.

Now for Mokou...

1st non-card: If you don't find this easy, I think it will take you quite a lot more practice to clear an Extra stage... Just my opinion there.

Limiting Edict "Ihakasa's Moon Curse": This card is annoying. I think this is the first time I ever completed it without dying or deathbombing.

2nd non-card: More dangerous, but still relatively simple... So simple that I took a hit, of course.

Immortal "Fire Bird - Flying Phoenix": Easy, once you learn the pattern.

3rd non-card: This one might be easier than the second.

Fujiwara "Flaw of Forgiving Shrine": Staying on the familiars trivializes this card. They won't create bullets when you're on top of them.

4th non-card: Denser, but slower. I'm more reliable at this one than her second.

Deathless "Xu-Fu's Dimension": Go to the bottom, tap up slightly, and if you only move left and right, everything blue will miss.

5th non-card: This is where I start intentionally bombing the non-cards. Spell Practice doesn't help here.

Forgiveness "Honest Man's Death": The laser will miss you if you move toward it after its creation... Although I've practiced this one quite a lot, I seem to rarely capture it in actual runs.

6th: 1-bomb.

Hollow Giant "Woo": She fires red straight down in the center, then aimed pink, then aimed red/blue/green, and repeat.
My strategy: Move to the top-left to lure her leftwards. Immediately move right, down, left, and dodge the bullets there. Go right after the next line of downward red, then back to the left, and repeat. (It worked often enough in Spell Practice.)

7th: 1-bomb... surprised I didn't need a second here.

Everlasting "Phoenix's Tail": Interestingly enough, I find it easier if I dodge just below the place where some flames turn around... So, of course, I place myself too high this time and take a hit here. The rest went well though.

8th: This noncard is ridiculous. I know it takes 2 bombs normally. But since I'd died then bombed, I thought I had done enough damage by that point to avoid a second bomb... Of course, that wasn't the case.

Hourai "Fujiyama Volcano": First attempt in a real run after an insane amount of practice, and I completely forget my strategy since I was still surprised from earlier.

"Possessed by Phoenix": Timeout card. First and third phases are easy, and fourth somewhat so. 1 planned bomb on the second phase.

"Hourai Doll": My plan? Reach it with enough lives/bombs remaining to survive. That is, I didn't have much of a plan for this card after the red arrow phase begins. Though apparently this is an easy final card anyway.
