Welcome to Touhou 9.5 Shoot the Bullet. This is another side point game like 7.5 before it, but this one isn't a fighter. Rather it is still a shmup like your standard Touhou fare however the end goal isn't shooting bullets at the boss until her health runs out...rather here you're shooting pictures of the boss an indeterminate amount of times.

Also this game is INSANELY difficult compared to other Touhou games, but the game makes up for it in its quick replayability. Think something like Super Meat Boy, yeah the games a grueling mess but if you die you've restarted the stage before you can think about it. (Which is how I threw over six hundred attempts against Patchouli in one sitting. GO ME!!!)

This game has no difficulty setting either. What you see is what you get. I have heard it described though as the first dew stages being like playing Easy mode, then the next few like Normal, then Hard mode finishing off with the last couple stages being akin to Lunatic mode...With the Extra stage being...I don't know. ZUN being a cruel bastard? I don't know I've never made it that far.

There are ten stages total with an extra stage. Each stage has two characters and you need to take four sets of pictures of each character with some exceptions to the formula here and there.

Wriggle tends to fight you with curving bullets but really it isn't THAT difficult to deal with. In all honesty it's very similar to the moves she used back in Imperishable Night.
