The final stage to end all final stages. The final boss to end all final bosses.
This stage is really hard, with each obstacle being worse than the previous accumulating in a midboss that feels quite a little bit unfair. The lasers she fires during her spell remain as thin purple lasers that follow you after they fired, which makes it really hard to restream the pattern safely.
The boss herself places herself rightfully as the hardest final boss in the series, with each of her patterns being tricky, dense and in the case of her second to last spell a straight up puzzle.
The second to last spell consist of a big orb that absorbs your bullets and shoots them back at you as lasers, but you need to shoot the orb to shrink it to a size so you can sneak by it to safety.
Her Lastword does not lock away your lives and bombs and will kill you if you let it. It's first three phases also don't have a regular life bar and instead require you to shoot down a number of familiars to progress to the next phase. All familiars have a complex pattern of revenge bullets, so it can be helpful to stop shooting and reposition yourself if you get in a bad spot.
Doing this, will eventually let you reach the end...

This game is the only one in this series that does not have an English patch, so I did my best and it was a lot of work, so I hope it's appreciated. Things might go a bit fast at some points. Timing this was a pain. Please pause the video if necessary. It felt weird to not have the story in here, when I want to show of the whole series.
The translation itself is almost word for word from the Touhou Wiki, with some very slight changes because I felt things were worded weirdly.
Book of Star Mythology is the 4th Touhou fan game in the series created by developer ido.
This game has made the interesting decision to be inspired by Legacy of Lunatic Kingdom. It is not quite as difficult, but still the hardest game in this particular series of fan games. It applies the chapter system from LoLK, giving you rewards at the end of each chapter depending on how many enemies you have defeated and how many star shaped Wish Items you collected.
Wish Items and Magnitude are the main scoring system of the game, where collecting more Wish Items raises Magnitude and reaching a higher Magnitude means getting more score.
Important to us is the little number left of the Score multiplier, which ticks down with each Wish Item collected. If it reaches 0 in a stage, the boss will use their Lastword at the end of the battle. Enemies constantly bleed Wish Items while you are shooting them from close up.
Shooting enemies in general also lowers the point of collection, making it easier to collect Wish items from afar.
The game also offers a Legendary Hero Mode, which gives you infinite lives, but we are not playing that.
