Touhou Shining Shooting Star x Project Beril Crossover: Sanae All
10Project Beril got a very exciting DLC this week.
Seiwell basically took Shining Shooting Star and ported Stage 2, Stage 5, and Tensei to his new engine in Project Beril. Sanae and Marisa are available to play, and of course Beril as well.
Shining Shooting Star is and remains one of the top fangames of all time despite its 7-year-old age, and it's super exciting to be able to play it in HD on a modern engine. (In fact, this DLC was released on the 7th anniversary of the original SSS's release!)
This video showcases clears of the three available stages with Sanae. Stage 2 and 5 were the usual (though I'm rusty on SSS).
Tensei on the other hand is quite brutal with only 2 lives, but I managed to pull through. I also captured the TLB final for the first time ever.
Something is wrong with the lasers on Tensei spell 2, you can just stand there and not get hit lol.
I pray to any and all gods that Seiwell ports the rest of SSS to this engine so SSS can have a full HD remake. This is already like a third of the game do the rest pleeeeeeeeeaaaaaaase.
