Marisa uses a deck that is all about Power and Bombs. The Barley Rice keeps her constantly at high power and gives her a small bomb when needed. Death Avoidance Elixir means she won't be punished for failing to use a spell and the Sutra of Dharmic Power raises the strength of her spells and the frequency of her use for active cards.
Touhou 18 Unconnected Marketeers might have my favorite gimmick in the entire series, as Ability Cards guarantee that every playthrough is fresh and unique.
For this reason I am playing through the game with each character and a deck of cards that fit a theme. I tried to reuse as little cards as possible across these 4 playthroughs to show off as many as possible across the board.
Some of these decks are built around synergies while some don't necessarily play off of each other at all, outside of fitting together thematically.
This is entirely me having fun, so come right along.
