New tour, new routes, new backgrounds: enjoy new magnificent sceneries featuring the different countries and regions crossed by this year’s Tour: from Germany to the Pyrenees, from Belgium to Luxembourg and the Alps, from the time trial at the foot of Notre Dame de la Garde to the breath taking finale on the Champs-Elysées!

You Are The Rider-
Make tactical decisions in real time, and manage your efforts and trajectories. Anticipate the key areas of the stage (resupply, sprints, challenging downhill…), play with the wind direction, follow closely your teammates and opponents, launch attacks, counter attack, and give orders to your teammates to win!
New Key Areas And Speed Of The Race-
Study the difficulties and opportunities of each stage: the key areas. A strong wind could help spread out formations, a narrow road is conducive to trapping a direct opponent, a challenging downhill, take advantage of theses areas to outdistance your opponents. Choose if you want to live the entire race (at speed x1, x2) to simulate it entirely, or to only play these key areas.
New AI And Long Term Strategy-
In addition to having a specific plan for the stage of the day, your opponents have a long-term strategy and they analyze the potential of every cyclist on the Tour. The team wearing the yellow jersey will most likely let you breakaway if you’re at the bottom of the ranks, than if you’re leading at the general.
New Physics Engine And Performance-
The improved physics engine takes better account of slopes and changes of elevation, leading to better handling of race speed and effort management. Climbing the Galibier pass has never seemed so real! The new performance engine increases the weight of your tempo management at the head of the peloton. Impose the pace that best suits your team strategy and leave your opponents behind.
New Time Limit-
As in real life, each cyclist must cross the finish line within a specific time. The race directors will disqualify latecomers. Manage your sprinters well in the mountains if you want them to bring the Green Jersey all the way to Paris!
