4To reach the Tower of Mirage, simply fly to the huge desert that dominates the north-eastern side of the map (west of Lufenia) - the tower is the only structure there.
Enter the tower of mirage, which in some other versions is simply called Mirage Tower. There's a challengine enforced fight against a Blue Dragon here. Like the other dragons it's not quite a boss really, but we feature it on our boss guide anyway [Boss Battle: BLUE DRAGON].
Explore the tower in full. When ready step on the teleportation warp tile to be taken to the Flying Fortress, thanks to use of your WARP CUBE key item.
Boss: Blue Dragon
s well as being the name of another great RPG from Final Fantasy creator Hironobu Sakaguchi, Blue Dragon is a minor boss in FF1 found in 3F of the Tower of Mirage. Like the previous dragons, it’s not crushingly challenging, but is a big enough fight to list here. The Blue Dragon will resist Lightning Spells. In fact, if possible, we recommend that you focus down on this enemy with your physical attackers. However, it is weak to Fire - so a well-placed high-level fire spell could end the fight prematurely, if you’re willing to spend a spell cast on it.
