To create the Corolla Cross, the chief engineer, Daizo Kameyama, made a point of maintaining the essence of the Corolla, that is, ensuring that it is a vehicle that meets the needs of customers: “I wanted a car that was good from the point of view of consumer and not just from the engineering point of view. This is because I believe that we should all put ourselves in the customer's shoes to make a good product ”.
