Why Early Access?
“There’s a lot of players out there who loved to build these type of train sets when they were younger and it would be great to hear about what restricted them from building the very best train set they could. Having the community suggest objects will ultimately produce a much more interesting game. The game is very much a sandbox at the moment, but some would prefer a more structured experience and we'd like to hear from them what objectives or challenges they'd like to face in this environment.”
Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?
“We can not say with certainty as we anticipate the suggestions and feedback from the community to see where they want us to take the game.”
How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?
“Many more objects to place in the environment, new environments to explore, objectives to complete and we are also looking towards more customization options for trains, buildings etc.”
What is the current state of the Early Access version?
“The games track building systems are nearly complete, Players can operate and drive the train, there are a few objectives and a number of items to place which are both cosmetic and interactive.”
Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?
“The price may increase with substantial content updates. We will do our best to let the community know in advance so that they are aware of any changes to the games price.”
How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?
“The game in its current state is designed to be quite modular. This means that the community can suggest object ideas in such a large number, we can then whittle them down into some great ideas that we would not have come up with ourselves. We will also be looking to support Steam Workshop which will allow us to play tracks created by other players and see what kind of exciting sets the community build.”
