PS4 Gameplay of Trails From Zero

Tips going forward:
-Always go normal! Especially if it's your first time through this game. Normal is challenging enough, and if you want to make it more challenging, just don't buff and debuff.

Easy is a good option if you just plan on going through the story.
Hard mode, to me, is for players who really know the system well as I think it poses the perfect amount of challenge because normal is just too easy.

Nightmare is for those who want to break the game. It's not worth playing Nightmare like the other difficulties.

-The entirity of the prologue is world building and mostly tuturial.
-It averages 45 minutes until you are able to really do anything, keep in mind. Again, lots of world building.
-When applying Orbments for your first time, its impossible to mess up as the characters have a certain color they can only equip for the first slot.
(Example: Elie is Green initially, so she can only equipe evade 1. LLoyd, brown so Defense 1 since its brown etc. you can't put Defense 1 on Elie because her slot is green)

After entering the Geo-Front:
-If this is your first time playing, just know that all Trails games at first when it comes to battle stuff, is actually really hard. Play aggressivly, these monsters dont mess around and keep your HP up using Tio's Tear.

-Use arts to take down The Slime Monster thingy.

-After Lloyd realizes theres another child, Answer to Look for the Kid with the boy (Option 2) for extra DP

-Save at the Healing station!!!

-Next few steps are important...
-The ultimate goal is to keep the monsters from Hurting and Downing the kid. This is very hard to do because its RNG that decides whether or not the kid is hurt/lives. The BEST thing you can do is to put all 4 members up top on the tactics menu and then pray the following works

-when you rush in, choose the first option. This is optional, but choosing this option lets all your party members go first. Attempt to move all members in between the enemies and hope they target you and not the child. It's also worth mentioning that on SWITCH, the enemies will likely target YOU so this is an easy strat on switch, however on PS4 they are more likely to go for the kid.

Alternatively, if you don't care about the extra DP, or RNG does not favor you, just make sure the Slimes don't down the kid. If either kids don't take any damage its extra 3 DP. Neither kid can be downed or its an auto game over, so hopefully you saved!

If you lost DP because of RNG, don't fret you can still achieve a perfect score but you just have to be extra careful to get your extra DP from now on. I cant remember how many points you can miss but you are allowed to miss a few I think.

-When you are able to control Lloyd, talk to Randy, Elie, and Tio. Then head outside.
