Trails in the Sky SC: Chapter Five
3Last time, we made our way to Mistwald, certain that the woman in black was hiding there. With the fog thick and visibility low, we relied on the compass to navigate but quickly became disoriented. As the eerie sound of a bell grew louder, I wondered if following it would lead me out. Then, we discovered a Gospel embedded in a tree. After defeating the enemies guarding it, I suddenly found myself alone, but pressed on regardless. This time, the Gospel was affecting people's minds. The mysterious woman in black was revealed to be Luciola, the Bewitching Bell, someone who had once been like a sister to Schera during their time in the circus.
The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky SC is a 2006 role-playing game developed by Nihon Falcom, part of the esteemed Trails series, which itself belongs to the larger The Legend of Heroes franchise. As a direct sequel to The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky, this game continues the epic journey with even deeper narrative elements and enhanced gameplay. Originally released for Windows in Japan in 2006, it later made its way to the PlayStation Portable in 2007.
Due to the extensive amount of text required for translation and localization, Trails in the Sky SC did not receive an English release until 2015. In Japan, a high-definition port for the PlayStation 3 was launched in 2013, followed by a remaster for the PlayStation Vita in 2015. Unfortunately, both of these versions remained exclusive to Japan. The game's legacy continues with its sequel, Trails in the Sky the 3rd, which was released in 2007.
