Something strange is afoot at the Tetracyclic Towers, with each tower’s peak engulfed in a mysterious darkness. To investigate, the crew of the Arseille is making stops across each region, starting with Esmelas Tower. Awaiting us at each location: an Enforcer. First to appear is the Phantom Thief Bleublanc, who greets us at Esmelas Tower. After some intense battles, the tower has returned to normal, and the black light has faded.

The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky SC is a 2006 role-playing game developed by Nihon Falcom, part of the esteemed Trails series, which itself belongs to the larger The Legend of Heroes franchise. As a direct sequel to The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky, this game continues the epic journey with even deeper narrative elements and enhanced gameplay. Originally released for Windows in Japan in 2006, it later made its way to the PlayStation Portable in 2007.

Due to the extensive amount of text required for translation and localization, Trails in the Sky SC did not receive an English release until 2015. In Japan, a high-definition port for the PlayStation 3 was launched in 2013, followed by a remaster for the PlayStation Vita in 2015. Unfortunately, both of these versions remained exclusive to Japan. The game's legacy continues with its sequel, Trails in the Sky the 3rd, which was released in 2007.
