I specifically chose people that aren't overleveled but I guess that didn't help too much with the difficulty of the boss.
Anyways, Kurt has a long-range deathblow craft (which you should wear resistance to), a DEF buff, a heal, and a damaging single target craft. All his other allies have the same crafts minus the deathblow one. Debuffing him and his allies is one of the easier ways of beating the boss since they don't resist them.
