Here is my latest let's play gaming video of Train Simulator Classic and here is the first one to come of June 2024. Here I am going to be using a Class 60 in DB Cargo livery on the Midland Mainline add on extension from Just Trains and this one is 60062. This is a salute to the standown of the real DB Cargo Class 60's that were withdrawn this year (2024) and all former workings are now worked by Class 66's for the time being.

Will this be permanent? Or maybe DB Cargo will buy Class 99's based on the Stadler Eurodual locomotives as a more beneficial replacement for the UK Class 60 would be a better option. Especially as the Class 66's are getting close to being 30 years old in 4 years time. Anyway, that's for another time.

Due to wheelslip bug with the Class 60 which still has not been fixed on this add-on. I had to put a helper locomotive on the back on the train to give this weak locomotive some help. In the real world the Class 60 is even stronger pulling than the Class 66 is but this one in the game doesn't even come close to the real physics of the Class 60's of the real world.

About this route and also the TSW4 version of the Midland Mainline. I would like to see an extension from Lincoln to Cleethorpes with Immingham depot and Lindsey Oil Refinery as then we could run these oil trains from Lindsey to Derby that would make for a nice long run on this MML route and perhaps a TSW4 version as well if a Class 60 comes out for that game.

This scenario is set to around 2017 when East Midlands Trains were still in operation before East Midland Railway took over their operations in 2018. A year after I left England. I got tongue tied when trying to pronounce Immingham but I am just me, not perfect but happy.
