A brilliant afternoon spent at the always busy station of Watford Junction on the West Coast Mainline where we see plenty of services from Virgin Trains, London Midland, Southern, Freightliner and London Overground.
Watford Junction is a brilliant station at the best of times, but today it was completely bonkers because of signalling issues around Berkhamsted which was throwing services way out during the whole morning. So a lot of London Midland services were being heavily affected along with a few Virgin Trains services having to run through the station at a much slower speed. I was going to film on the St Albans Abbey branch but because of the severe delays it would have meant that I would have missed several services thundering through. My next film is at St Albans City on the Midland Mainline.
