In this review Samuel Beamon and Lewis Brown (LJ Trains) take a look at the newly released Class 42 Warship DLC for Trainz by 3DZug (Protrains), although the overall model looks very good, once again this is yet another Trainz DLC let down by the sounds using sounds from a class 35 Hymek diesel that was released 20 years ago and for $19.99 the developer should have at the very least looked into sourcing some new sounds for this locomotive as using outdated sounds really will turn away customers from buying the product.

This loco DLC has some nice features such as working window wipers on both the interior view and exterior views, weathered variations and opening cab windows, it is brilliant to see a new class 42 for the game as the Pikabird Model was showing its age, however we do feel it is a somewhat wasted opportunity as the lack of new sounds really does let this down, if there is any Trainz model maker out there in need of UK Trainz Sounds please don't be frightened to get in touch with us at.....
